During the second week in AS media, we looked at two different types of drama's broadcasted on the BBC. Casualty is a medical drama and Life on Mars was a Crime Drama. To summarise each drama and then compare them we had to describe the characters, the narrative, Mise-en-scene and also the icons that were shown in each drama.

A Tv drama is a television programme that can often relate to real life.

Signification - what the image is 

Connotation - The term to describe the way an image can be represented. this can be in more ways than one. 

Representation- how something is represented to the audience
